Where do you go when dreaming
where are you when asleep
maybe you will be seeing
some of those counted sheep
maybe you'll see them grazing
out on some meadow green
while sleeping there's no limits
who knows who sets the scene

You may turn out a hero
or maybe run away
you may be a great actor
in some importaint play
you walk in lovely gardens
or sail the roaring sea
you fly up in the heavens
just like a bird all free

I do prefer when dreaming
the dream about my girl
with smiling eyes so lovely
and in my arms she'll curl
that dream is made for lovers
that is my very best
I hope that's what I'm dreaming
each night I go to rest
