I wish sad memories would stay away
sad memories can make you feel so low
but they keep popping up both night and day
those memories forgotten long ago

Much better to remember all things good
and they are many more than all the bad
remember you did what you thought you should
so think about all good times that you had

and all we did in life we find is there
a treasure chest to look in when we're bored
or just to find the when and find the where

Bad memories will never go away

in some external memory some where
so only I can look once in a while
