I'll not forget your smile
while sailing down the Nile
when we were down in Egypt together
we took a charter flight
and flew into the night
to get away from our awful weather

Arriving in the sun
the blues were on the run
we booked a trip to sail down on the Nile
we were so much in love
with stars and sun above
but I remember most your lovely smile

The scenery went by
warm air and clear blue sky
with not a care just being with each other
we all should take a trip
upon a sailing ship
and fill our life with happiness and laughter

I'm sure we'll go again
some day I don't know when
but we will sail again upon the Nile
that was a happy time
