My Home is far away from me
so very far away
for I am traveling 'round the world
so very far away
I hope I will return someday
and never roam again
and live just like I did before
in my home by the bay
It will be nice again to settle down
in my home by the bay
and when I get there to my home

Until that day will come then
I will live my life each day
and I will think of when one day
I'll see my home once more

but stay there in my home down by the bay

and think about the sights I've seen
and never roam no more

the places that I'm traveling to
is very nice to see
but nowhere in this world is like
my home there by the sea
there's peace and calm and oh so nice
and friends and neighbours who
will do their best to make this life
so wonderful for you
and so I can not wait for that sweet day
when I am back again
and see my home down by the bay
