Sometimes we laugh
and sometimes we cry
and sometimes I've felt
like saying goodbye
there's times when we praise
and times when we chide
but always we stay beside

Sometimes we had fun
sometimes there was pain
but always we're here
together again
times may be bad
but never we stray
no matter a rainy day
 

Sometimes we fight
but always we're friends
when one of us breaks
the other one mends
sometimes we're alone
and times we're apart
but always as one in heart

And down through the years
through sorrow and fears
with times full of joy
and times full of tears
our years have been long
but we got along
and always our love's been strong
