when each one can show where he stands

to accept there are other lands
it isn't just us
that has found the one way to live
and people with customs not like ours
also may have something to give

do you want to have a good life
a life without fear
and to see a world without strife
then please take the hand
of someone there in a strange land
and you have made the first step to make
a good friend and to understand

we do not all look the same way
but no one's to blame
it's just nice with such an array
but most think the same
we'll keep safe those ones we have dear
