That was oh such a long time back.

Do you remember the first time we met
we were so young it was love at first sight
that we got married I'll never regret
us two together was ever so right
life has been good and we had a good time
and I was so happy to say you were mine
I never thought that such love could exist
can't count the numerous times that we kissed
that we were soulmates we knew from the start
yes that was something I knew in my heart

That was oh such a long time back

When I look back on that wonderful time
I can't help getting some tears in my eyes
that is of happiness that you were mine
love such as ours I am sure never dies
now we are older and look back once more
we sure made the right choice and chose the right door
if there is ever a life after this
I know that somehow we'll meet there once more
then we'll continue our life full of bliss
and we will love on that heavenly shore
