my love's been gone too long
so blow and send a kiss from me
my love for him/her is strong

I long for when he's/she's home with me
and holds me close and then kisses me
and tells me that I'm the only one
my tears will all be gone

and bring him/her back to me
I hope that he/she will go no more
and stay here on the shore

I would so like to make a home
a lovely nest for just him/her and me
a place that will be our honeycome
a place for him/her and me.
